My path from auditor to automation architect
I started my career in IT audit and risk assurance — first at Ernst & Young, then eBay, and eventually TDK Corporation where I spent the better part of a decade. At TDK, a $12B global manufacturer with 80,000+ employees, I led 20+ strategic audits across everything from privileged access management to cybersecurity resiliency.
But auditing is about finding what's broken. I wanted to build what works.
I self-directed TDK's AI adoption strategy for Internal Audit. No one told me to do it. I saw the opportunity, built the solutions, then presented them to management. The InfoSec Copilot I created reduced audit planning time by 75%. The J-SOX automation tools I developed cut entity testing from 60-70 hours down to 10-15 hours, delivering $70K+ in annual efficiency gains.
Pretty soon, teams across the organization started reaching out. "Can AI do this?" became the question I answered most. I became the recognized subject matter expert on AI operations within TDK's US organization.
That builder's mindset is what drives Rheo Flow. I take the same systems-thinking approach that worked in a global enterprise and apply it to coaches, consultants, and small business owners who are drowning in manual work. The problems are different in scale, but the solutions follow the same principles: understand the process, find the bottlenecks, build systems that handle it.
