From finding what's broken to building what works

For most of the last decade I worked in IT audit and information security. The job was finding what was broken. I got pretty good at it. But after a while I realized I wanted to build what works.

In May 2025 I started using AI to solve real problems inside a corporate audit team. Not theory. Actual tools that gave people their afternoons back. Pretty soon, leadership stopped asking me about audits and started asking me about AI. That shift changed everything for me.

Here's the thing I keep learning. Most of the work eating people's weeks isn't strategic. It's maintenance. It's pulling numbers out of one tool and typing them into another. It feels like work because it is work. But it's not the work that grows the business.

Later that year I founded Rheo Flow. I help small business owners and founders build custom AI tools and workflows that actually fit the way they work. Not the other way around.

One of the things I'm learning as a builder is that the people on the other side of the screen matter more than the tech. I'm a faith-driven dad before I'm a founder. I treat every project like the person paying me is a friend, because most of the time, they end up becoming one.

Beyond work

I'm a faith-driven dad with three decades of ministry leadership behind me. I've served as an Executive Pastor and a basketball coach. These days my focus is on my family and building Rheo Flow, but I still care deeply about helping dads and professionals lead from a place of overflow instead of burnout.
